Michigan Artists Retreat

September 10–14, 2025

This retreat offers an immersive experience at Ox-Bow, facilitated by the Manager of Ox-Bow House, Maggie Bandstra. The purpose of the retreat is to connect and commune with other Michigan artists, embrace the landscape, and be inspired by the space and each other. Participating artists are invited to bring one completed piece of artwork. Please bring other pieces you would like to work on during the weekend and any materials you need during your stay. Artists are invited to share works in progress while discussing their work and practices with one another.  

Cost: $600/person. This includes 4 days and 3 nights of lodging, studio space to work in, and three meals per day. Private studios are available for an additional $175.
