Registration

Online registration opens on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET. Your registration request can be submitted to the Ox-Bow registrar via the button below on the date listed above.

Please note: Ox-Bow’s registrar does not work from Ox-Bow’s campus in Saugatuck, Michigan, and will not be available via the campus phone. For any registration questions, please direct them to our main email, oxbow@ox-bow.org.

Credit Options Ox-Bow courses are open to all students over the age of 18 and may be taken for personal enrichment or academic credit.

  • Non-credit students: Ox-Bow's courses are open to lifelong learners and anyone seeking creative development and community outside traditional academic structures—no institutional affiliation required.

  • For academic credit: Students enrolled at colleges or universities may be able to receive transfer credit for Ox-Bow courses. Students seeking credit will pay the SAIC student tuition rate. Contact your home institution's registrar to confirm transferability before enrolling.

  • SAIC students: Please visit our ‘For SAIC Students’ page for specific registration information.

Note: Students who complete a for-credit course will receive credit through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ox-Bow’s for-credit tuition is the same as SAIC’s per credit.
