On October 3, 2026, Ox-Bow School of Art & Artists’ Residency will host its Fall Harvest Dinner, bringing together five Culinary Artists in Residence for a seasonal, multi-course meal on Ox-Bow’s historic meadow in Saugatuck, Michigan. The evening will feature wine pairings and ingredients sourced from local farms and purveyors, with the artists sharing their work and the creative processes behind the meal.
The Fall Harvest Dinner is the culminating public program of Ox-Bow’s Culinary Artist in Residence program, supporting artists working at the intersection of food and art. The residency gives culinary artists time and space to develop their practices within Ox-Bow’s interdisciplinary art-school environment, where food can intersect with other materials, media, and forms of making.

Meet the Culinary Artists
This year’s five residents, Cheyenne Broughton, Wei Cheng, Rae Friedman, Noya Kansky, and Luna Vela, work across culinary curation, pastry, performance, installation, ceramics, poetry, and research and have spent their residency experimenting in Ox-Bow’s kitchen and studios.
