Full participation experience for family members to explore the world of Ox-Bow together with curiosity as your guide. Explore, discover, and collect natural and found objects found within Ox-Bow’s great outdoors in a scavenger hunt. Collaboratively, the artists will juxtapose items from the hunt into still-lives and create 2D artwork. We will explore fundamental still-life principles such as proportion, positive/negative space, shape, and form. Encouragement to experiment with a variety of media and color while exploring beginning ideas of realism, abstraction, and imagination.
