Monotype and chine colle printing provide an opportunity for endless exploration. In this class we will scratch the surface of the many possibilities that come with printing with water based inks and various drawing tools. We will explore stencils and the addition of collaged elements through chine colle. Students will be asked to bring in material they would like to work with in a collaborative print. Monotype printing is a very useful printmaking skill for those who do not always have access to traditional printmaking equipment.
