Summer 2013 Registration
Registering for one of our core classes is easy! You can register in person, online, through the mail or by fax. Just follow the instructions below based on when you are eligible to register and how you would like to do it.
SAIC in person registration: Open, until class is full
Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at SAIC may register for Ox-Bow beginning at 8:30 AM on Monday, March 11th. SAIC students can only register in person at the Ox-Bow office (36 S. Wabash, Suite 1425) at this time.
Open online registration: Open, until class is full

Non-credit students can pay for the course by credit card at this time and for-credit students will make payment arrangements with SAIC (please see faq with SAIC payment questions).This is not an automated process as we are a unique place that has to manage housing as well. Our registrar will process the registration requests in the order they are received, mailing a registration confirmation soon after. Please call 1-800-318-3019 if you would like confirmation that we received your information. In the event that the course you requested is full, you will receive an email or call informing you of your status on the wait list or that you have been enrolled in your second choice course.

Please send a complete this registration form, (or the form from the back of the course catalog), including payment arrangements to Ox-Bow Registration, 36 S. Wabash, 12th floor, Chicago, IL 60603. Forms sent in the mail may be postmarked no earlier than March 26th and will be processed in the order they were received on April 4th.
Open registration in person or by fax: Open, until class is full
Bring your completed registration form and payment arrangements to Ox-Bow’s Chicago office (36 S. Wabash Ave, Suite 1425). Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis from 8:30am-4:30pm Central, Monday-Friday. Forms by fax can be sent to 312.629.6156.

Ox-Bow Drop Policy (please read carefully) for Summer 2013
Please read carefully, Ox-Bow's drop policy is not the same as SAIC's drop policy.
To drop a course, students must submit the request in writing to Ox-Bow’s registrar. Call 800.318.3019 for more information. Simply not attending does not constitute a drop. Additionally, it is not possible to drop an Ox-Bow course through the SAIC Portal or through the SAIC Registrar.
The following drop fees will be assessed dependent on when you drop your course:
From the first day of registration until 4:30 pm on Monday, April 29th: Students will receive a full refund minus a $100 drop fee.
If you drop after April 29th until 3 weeks prior to your first day of class: Students will receive a full refund minus $250 drop fee and any associated lab fees.
If you drop within 3 weeks of the start date of your class: No refunds will be given. Drops due to an unforeseen emergency (i.e. hospitalization, etc.) are eligible to be contested through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Refund Review Board. Documentation is required and refunds are typically partial. Please contact Ox-Bow’s registrar at ox-bow@saic.edu or 800.318.3019 for the refund review forms and information.
At anytime if you would like to switch between for-credit and non-credit registration for the same class, you will be charged a $100 administrative drop fee.

Winter 2013 Registration
Spend 2 weeks in a winter wonderland! Engage in a small community of dedicated artists and enjoy lots of focused time with faculty. All classes run from January 6-19. Earn three credit hours for one two-week course! All winter Ox-Bow students must live at Ox-Bow and take the winter course for School of the Art Institute of Chicago credit.
Winter 2014 information will be updated in September.

Open and online registration: November 12, 2012, 1:30 pm
An online registration form will become available HERE to request registration beginning on November 12, 2012, at 1:30 pm, Central Time. Online registration is open to both SAIC and non-SAIC students. However the winter course must be taken for SAIC Credit. Students will make payment arrangements with SAIC (please see faq with SAIC payment questions).This is not an automated process as we are a unique place that has to manage housing as well. Winter 2013 Tuition and Room & Board
In the winter, students may only enroll in one course. This course must be taken for 3 SAIC credits. Students must also participate in the room and board program at Ox-Bow during the winter term. Students may sign up for the work scholarship program on a first come basis at the time of registration. These positions are limited.
