Kyle Connolly
A Michigan native and Eastern Michigan University graduate, Kyle has always used his hands to express himself. He became intrigued at an early age with the craft of blacksmithing. It is the challenge of working with ever changing materials in motion that continues to captivate his attention and capture the appreciation of his clients. Kyle has worked as a professional smith for the past sixteen years in his Ann Arbor studio. Commissioned works include a shopping mall sculptural installation in Ecuador, Henry Ford Health Systems, and numerous railings and kitchen potracks in private homes and restaurants. His work has won awards in Detroit Home Magazine.
