John vanAmerongen
John vanAmerongen has been a practicing sculptor for over 35 years. He initially graduated from the Center for Creative Studies (Detroit), where he remained to teach glass blowing and sculpture. He received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, where he subsequently taught sculpture. Currently, he resides in rural Pine River, Wisconsin with his wife, Maureen, their son, Stone and dog, Busy. He continues to work in his studio and show regionally.
