Capture the essence of Ox-Bow while creating dreamy landscapes using pastel as a bridge between drawing and painting. During the beautiful autumn season, young artists will create drawings that closely examine color and address the constant changes of light in their compositions.

Explore the world of art through clay! Ox-Bow’s youngest artists will delve into clay, using various tools and materials. Students will create their own bowls, plates, and vases, as well as use hand-building techniques to create animal and human forms. We will explore the history of ceramics in different cultures, and focus on styles of painting and glazing work to create finished works.
Sock Monkey Madness
ages 7-10
Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16
10:00-1:00 pm each day

Let’s make sock puppets! In this 2 day workshop students will use basic hand sewing skills to create their very own sock puppets. We will use a variety of materials to personalize and decorate our puppets. Socks, buttons, beads, etc. are provided.
