This year, the annual Ox-Bow art auction, dinner and dance party will bring the beach to the iconic Ox-Bow meadow.
Dinner will be prepared by chef extraordinaire, Chris Ferris, and a unique cocktail will be designed by Ninth Bridge. Eric May, head chef at Ox-Bow and director of Roots and Culture Contemporary Arts Center in Chicago, IL, will DJ.
The evening will begin with a silent auction featuring many prominent regional and national artists, followed by a live auction featuring artwork by Thimgan Hayden, James Brandess, Ellen Lanyon, Alice Bogart, and exciting experiences such as a clambake for 20 along the Ox-Bow lagoon, a Chef’s dinner with Chris Ferris, a boat cruise, and a weekend stay at the exquisite Metternich guest house on the Ox-Bow campus. There are over 50 works of art up for auction. Also available, for a donation of $100, a limited edition custom printed beach towel. Following the auctions, there will be a dance party.
All funds raised at the event will be used to support scholarships and programming. Ox-Bow was founded in 1910, is located in Saugatuck, Michigan, and is proudly affiliated with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Ox-Bow thanks U.S. Trust a presenting sponsor.
